Letters of Support
May 10, 2004
Dear Allan:
Penny Sue Gwin Principal
What a pleasure it was to have you speak to my class last
week! You brought such a refreshing picture of the world
to them and made their readings in class come to life with
your views and video clips of" Amistad" and of the Holocaust.
We were all quite touched by your belief in children; it
made quite an impact on the students, They have so few who
believe in them and in what they can do yet you made it
clear that they can achieve anything they set their sights
on. I hope that you can visit again so that we might have
more time to dialogue with you. In addition, we would like
to view "Big Leaf Tobacco Company".
Take care and many, many thanks.
Sincerely, Judi Greenberg Teacher/Coordinator
